Το όνομά μου είναι Μαρία, όπου μυήθηκε η καλλιτεχνική μου έμπνευση!! Οι περισσότεροι το αποκαλούν "νησί της καρδιάς", ιδιαίτερα εκείνοι που επισκέπτονται για πρώτη φορά και από τότε, διατηρούν αυτή την επίσκεψη ως πολύτιμο λίθο στην καρδιά τους, ως ύπαρξη η δεύτερη πατρίδα τους για όλα τα χρόνια που έρχονται.
Από την πολύ μικρή ηλικία, με γοήτευσε η ηρεμία της θάλασσας, η μυρωδιά που παράγει, τα άψυχα υλικά που αγκαλιάζονταν και γλυπτόταν κατά τη διάρκεια πολλών ετών.. το driftwood που κυλά γύρω γύρω και, για πολλά άψυχα και ξεχασμένα υλικά.
Για μένα όμως αυτά τα υλικά ήταν πολύτιμα, είχαν ψυχή και πάντα έβλεπα την εσωτερική τους λάμψη, άκουγα τις ιστορίες τους, ένιωσα την ενέργειά τους.
Αυτό το driftwood μεταμορφώνεται στα χέρια μου, παίρνει σχήμα από την ψυχή μου.
Μιλάει για ταξίδια, χαμογελάει, έχει δυναμισμό και διαδίδει το θετικό enerMy όνομα της είναι Μαρία.
Γεννήθηκα στο νησί της Κρήτης η γη της ειρήνης και της ηρεμίας, ο τόπος όπου μυήθηκε η καλλιτεχνική μου έμπνευση!!
Οι περισσότεροι το αποκαλούν ′′νησί της καρδιάς", ιδιαίτερα όσοι επισκέπτονται για πρώτη φορά και από τότε, κρατούν αυτή την επίσκεψη ως πολύτιμο λίθο στις καρδιές τους, ως η δεύτερη πατρίδα τους για όλα τα χρόνια που έρχονται.
Και είστε όλοι καλεσμένοι σε αυτό το καλλιτεχνικό ταξίδι... σύντροφοι στο νέο... στο διαφορετικό.

My name is Maria. where my artistic inspiration has been initiated!! Most people call it “the island of the heart”, particularly the ones who visit for the first time and since then, they keep this visit as a precious stone in their hearts, as being their second homeland for all the years to come.
From the very young age, I was fascinated by the calm of the sea, the smell it produces, the lifeless materials she was embracing and sculpturing during many years.. the driftwood flowing around and, for many lifeless and forgotten materials.
For me however these materials were precious, they had soul and I always saw their internal glow, I listened to their stories, I felt their energy.
This driftwood is transformed in my hands; it takes shape out of my soul.
It talks about travel, it smiles, it has vigor and spreads its positive enerMy name is Maria.
